Mensch + Innovation + X
The competence center MIX stands for an interdisciplinary, human-centered and prototype-based approach to solve the wicked problems of the 21st century. It is based on methods such as design thinking, user experience design, and interdisciplinary human centered innvovation and incorporates their social and economical relevance.
The competence center aims to incorporate this approach into teaching and transfer projects and to further expand it through interdisciplinary exchange. In doing so, it bundles experience and competencies in
- human-centered design and innovation,
- project-oriented teaching,
- research-oriented projects and applied research,
- interdisciplinary projects, and
- operating a makerspace and fab lab.
